A Much Anticipated Maryland Wedding | Eric + Courtney
Eric is my soulmate, no doubt. if I had to choose one thing that made me fall in love with him it's his strong faith and love of God...I love that God is at the center of our relationship and since the accident we've been leaning on God even more during the extremely hard times. - Courtney
The story of this couple is unlike anything I've heard in my life, they've suffered together more than most couples do this early on in their relationships. But, honestly, besides seeing Eric wearing his cast, you would have never guessed the difficult events leading up to this special day. Their unbelievable joy and love for each other amidst all the pain they have endured together is so transparent.
Eric and Courtney met on Instagram. Courtney slid in his DM and 2 and half years later here they are! They have always been long distance in their relationship because Eric is a Marine in the military. Then 6 months ago, Eric was involved in a severe accident, which left him in the hospital under intensive care and underwent many surgeries.
Before the accident, Eric and Courtney had to move their wedding date when they found out that Eric would soon be deployed. Then because of the accident, they had to move their wedding date again. But on December 16th, this determined couple were able to finally tie the knot. They had a small and intimate ceremony at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, with a group of close friends and family members. They finished their perfect day with a dinner reception at Maggiano's.Although they plan to go through with their original plan of their dream wedding later this summer, I am pretty sure this day, in a small military chapel surrounded by their loved ones, where they officially said their "I dos" will be an unforgettable day in their new life together!
MAJOR CONGRATS TO THE MILCHERS! CHEERS TO YOU GUYS!
