A romantic Fall wedding in one of New York’s most beautiful and historic towns, Saratoga Springs!
I’m not crying, you’re crying! My favorite part was seeing Max’s reaction when Bella came down the aisle! Get ready to cry over these two and their beautiful day in the Texas sun!
Jen and Darius got married at the groom's parents' estate (mother and stepfather) with 50 of their closest family members. Jen wore her grandmother's vintage ring on her wedding and carried all wedding bands in leather pouches made by Jen's father. The couple and their families just radiated so much love, laughter, and charisma on the wedding day.
I am all for engagement sessions with your pets!! I think pets make the best engagement session props. Forget the cheesy chalkboard signs, bring your pets! If you like canoeing lets go on a lake. If you and your love have a sick bike, bring it to your session. If your thing is pizza and beer or popping champagne, I am all for it! Lets make your session real to you, I promise it’ll be more memorable when you’re yourself!
It’s almost sweater weather, which means the start of more in home sessions! Nothing better than lounging on the couch and getting all the snugs in with your love on a rainy and cold day!
Remember Nicole and Will’s in home engagement session? Many of you nicknamed them the “Plant People” and said you couldn’t wait for their wedding pictures. Well, here it is! And I hope you didn’t expect anything less than more beautiful plants at their wedding!
This wedding reminded me so much of my own. It brought me back to so many great memories of my wedding day that I have to confess, it was the first I ever cried at a wedding.
It’s our three-year wedding anniversary and I am spilling all the beans on mistakes we made planning our wedding, while at the same time celebrating our day because it was the most beautiful and memorable start of our lives together!
This session included so many of my favorite things: a dog, sooooo many plants, boho-inspired design (it was like walking into a Domino book), coffee and croissant, and my ideal couple-sweet, fun, a little crazy, and love a good time!
Fun, history, and fashion! All in one blog post! I really enjoy engagement sessions for many reasons, one being getting to know my couples before their wedding day on a personal level. This was one of those shoots where adventure (really known as D.C. traffic) happy, and photogenic subjects collided for one amazing afternoon in D.C.
Running around the city at DuPont Circle with the cutest pup and hopping over tree trunks at Theodore Roosevelt Island, the diverse landscape of Washington, DC offered the perfect backdrop for Kelsey and Ari’s engagement session.
Springtime in DC means getting to meet lots of people who come around for the cherry blossoms and magnolia blooms.
An elegantly themed 4/20 wedding with lots of greenery, industrial, metals, and gold elements.
The cherry blossoms are finally here! Which also means fighting the crowds and selfie sticks to get that perfect photo of a family that looks like it's just them and the cherry blossoms. But I mean, would I do it again, definitely YES!
A California family session dream came true...
A rainy yet charming day in Dumbo, Brooklyn spent documenting these two.
I love it when our friends get engaged...and I get to do their engagement photos! This Georgetown engagement session was super fun and I hope you enjoy it.
I am currently reading through Mark Batterson's book called, A Trip Around the Sun, which is co-authored with Dick Foth, and there are seriously so many good one-liners that I think I'll be quoting them for awhile. Are you ready for the first one? "Possessions are a dime a dozen. Experiences are the currency of a life well lived." -Mark Batterson.
You know the kind of love you see that inspires you to love better...? Ya, this is exactly how I felt after watching Annie and Miika during this styled photo session. They made all my dreams for this shoot come to life and I am so happy that I get to share it with you!
